Charges are electronically captured and scrubbed. After the report has been approved, it is electronically sent to the EBC Data Capture (more information about this in our Billing Operations insert). From here coders or payment posters can utilize the split screen technology to efficiently create a charge, which is electronically scrubbed for completeness before it is sent to the EBC for immediate billing.
