Call Center Representative-Maitland, Florida

Zotec Partners, a leading national medical billing company is seeking a Call Center Customer Service Representative at our Southeast Office located in Maitland, FL.

As the Call Center Representative, you would answer incoming calls from patients who have questions regarding medical bills, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and other billing issues from their medical office.
Job responsibilities include:
• Taking inbound calls from patients in a small call center environment
• Responding to patient billing,
• EOB and invoice questions as well as researching issues, follow-up on customer inquires not immediately resolved.
• Escalating issues, if needed, to the various departments or management,
• Tracking calls and patient information using an internal system
• Processing and cleaning up charges on hold, correspondents sent in via fax or e-mail, and web portal inquiries during slow periods.

Candidate must possess:

• Comprehensive call center knowledge in a medical environment is required
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision.
• Typing proficiencies of 35 wpm/and above average data entry skills
• Proficient in basic Microsoft applications
• Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
• Ability to learn a proprietary medical management software
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years Customer service experience in a call center, or medical office.
